Ugh.

Yesterday was an okay day, I suppose. I won’t go into great detail because I’m not really feeling up to it, so forgive me.

I woke up early and Elin took me to a cheap grocery store farther away from where we live. It was definitely worth it though as I got a lot of things for around 40 bucks. I have a feeling it won’t be enough for Manda and I, however. Oh well. Then I went into town to buy my ticket for the international gasque/ball I thought I had signed up for on Monday and supposedly it was only available for sign ups on Tuesday and they were now sold out…okaaay forget that then. I went over to Gästrike-Helsinge to register at their nation but of course I forgot my p-number (ID number every person has in Sweden) so they told me to come back again.

On my way back to my apartment, I ran into Nick, Daniele, and Sarah who were looking to get cake or sign up for a nation. We went back to GH and we found out you can still register on Saturday yessss. So forget going back home then. I joined them and we got cake at the same place I met with Sarah (the Swedish one) yesterday. They had plans to have dinner at 6 and they invited me along, but they weren’t sure where to meet. I just told them to text me later and I’d go home. However, 6pm came and went and I ended up just having to eat in my apartment. Oh well I guess.

Today I tried to sign up for GH AGAIN but no one was around even though they told me they’d be open on Saturday. Fine then…I’ll come back Monday I suppose. Amanda finally arrived at the train station and we walked the mile and a half (she didn’t want to take the bus) back to my apartment. She’s asleep now and I don’t know what we’ll do the rest of the day. There’s a BBQ and club tonight as the closing thing for orientation week but I don’t think I’ll go if no one invites me along. I’m feeling pretty anti-social for the time being.
