Wait…what?
I got back early from my trip and I guess my internet doesn’t run out for another hour or so. But WHAT THE HECK. I went to my apartment (easy enough to get to after buying my 12-trip card) and I live in the boy’s coridoor? No one was awake yet so I couldn’t ask anything and I guess I can go over to the housing office again but really, what will they tell me? I don’t think there’s anything else available to me to be honest! I mean, the shower is individual (one out of 5 can use it at a time) so that’s no biggie but I don’t know. It’s just odd.
On another note, I got to IKEA and spent too much for how little I got…I know I know. IKEA is cheap! But the stupid curtains I bought were as much as my duvet and cover (I probably should have just not bought them, but they were the only ones I could find in a green and they’re thick enough to keep the sunlight out…). I also got one towel, a hand towel, a pillow and photo thing. I guess my duvet was more expensive too because I bought a full one I can bring home and use on a larger bed. Oh well for now. I just feel like I’m spending SO much money because when you say 1400 - that sounds like a lot! But divide by that my 7.5 or 8 (less than 200 bucks), it’s easier to come to terms with. I still have a lot to get I couldn’t carry back with me on the bus and will have to come back later. I need a robe (if I’ll be living with the guys that is), hangers (my clothes will just be folded/sit in suitcases for the time being), organization boxes, a rug (my floor is dirty and old), plus anything for the bathroom (a picture, rug, SOMETHING…that place is tiny and unfortunate looking). I’m not sure yet if I need to buy my own plates and cookwear. When I checked out the kitchen this morning, it was disgusting…gotta do something about that too. Not to mention, I need all sorts of basics and a hair dryer and straightener. Sigh. It’ll be much cheaper come next month.
